The wedding day (21st of September) events will be held in two nearby cities 30 minutes apart as per the below plan:
At Székelykeresztúr/Cristuru Secuiesc:
- 15:00 - 16:00 Welcome drink and "Bride's asking out ceremony" (Groom's House)
- 16:00 - 17:00 Church ceremony at the Unitarian Church
At Székelyudvarhely/Odorheiu Secuiesc
- 17:00 - 17:40 Travelling to Székelyudvarhely/Odorheiu Secuiesc
- 17:40 - 18:30 Picture taking in the park in front of the Restaurant
- 18:30 onwards - Wedding party till we drop (usually at 6-7 AM the next day)
A wedding is quite a fluid event, so the timing is for reference only. You can choose whether you want to attend all events, or just come to the party. We will provide transportation between the two cities for those who need.

Interesting Facts:
The groom himself worked hard with his two hands in building the house. The gate is a traditional "Székely" gate that the groom wanted to have and helped the family to build (hence his name on it).
The Unitarian Church:

The unitarian religion is present in Székelykeresztúr since the 1600s and the city played a key role in the development and spreading of Unitarianism in Transylvania. The current church has been started to be built in 1782 and the tower had been finalized in 1841. The pipe organ has been added to the church in 1844.
The groom's grandfather has been the teacher of the current priest in elementary school and he always talks of the grandfather very fondly. The grandfather himself has been studying in a unitarian school and was serving the church.
Currently Székelykeresztúr regained his status of being one of the most prominent unitarian centers in Transylvania, also having a standalone unitarian school.
Famous unitarians include (besides the groom of course): Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Alexander Graham Bell, Charles Darwin, Charles Dickens.
