Pre and post wedding activities

As the arrival informations are not yet known, we will update this page as we know more of your arrival dates. We plan to organize small trips around the groom's city and if whether permits, we would like to have as much outdoors activities as possible (as most of us are currently city dwellers).

This will be a dynamic section with continuous updates, so please return to visit frequently to find out where we are and what we do before and after the wedding. 

 Bride & Groom Whereabouts:
  • We are currently in Romania in the groom's hometown and working on the wedding preparations with lots of excitement. We will be in Romania till the 29th of September, roughly one week after the wedding.
Garden BBQ & Drinks:
  • Date & time: 20th of September, from 3 pm onwards
  • Location: Groom's house (if it rains or is too cold outside, then we shall go to a local restaurant in the evening)
  • Description:  As some of you might arrive on Friday already, I thought to have a relaxing garden BBQ with drinks at my house. Probably the ideal setting for a good catch up or get to know each other.

Things to visit in Székelykeresztúr/Cristuru Secuiesc:
  • Local Museum
  • The cross on the hill overlooking the town (nice exercise if weather permits)
  • Gyárfás Kúria - This is the place where Petőfi Sándor, the most famous Hungarian poet spent his last night, before dying in a battle the next day. 
  • Walk to Sóskút - a local spa and villa area, but actually the walk there and around is the most attractive
